Automatic Software update tonight

Do I have to accept the automatic software update? I prefer not to accept it.

you can turn off automatic updates.. you are in complete control of this. Just go to Settings > General > Software Update > Customize Automatic Updates and turn off the switches

I don’t want the automatic software update on my iPhone 8plus that’s going to take place tonight or just after midnight.
