After updating SMS are automatically sent to my iPhone

Hi, could anyone advise me?

after updating the iOS to, sms are automatically sent from my iphone to the phone number 447******094. Sometimes even 3 a day. I turned off iMessage and Facetime, but that didn't help either.

Does anyone have experience in how to deal with this?

Thanks...

This is International SMS sent to iMessage server for verification.

Support iPhone carrier normally waived the charges.

Otherwise you have 3 choices:

  1. Switch iMessage & FaceTime OFF, see here => Deregister and Turn Off iMessage - Apple Support
  2. Change to a carrier that waived iMessage & FaceTime charges
  3. Continue and pay the verification message(s)

Note: Every time you switched iMessage ON/OFF, a message to the server is sent.
