already bought app

I payed for an app on my phone so I got it on my ipad for free. However its saying on my Mac that I need to pay for it again but I already have. They are all connected to the same apple ID

I have to pay for an app again. I just today switched from an iPhone 11 to iPhone 14 and I’m trying to download an app I paid for on the previous phone. I’m using the same Apple ID as the one a paid for the app with. When I search up the app it even shows the cloud icon as the button to download it; showing I already purchased it, however when I go to download it I’m being asked to pay for it again. Is there a fix to this. The account I used is the same one I’m typing this with. Thanks

An IOS app that you can use on your phone and iPad isn't computer compatible. What you are trying to download on the computer isn't covered by an IOS purchase. It is a separate purchase.
