Some Other Ideas:

  • Try the Reset of the SMC and your NVRAM thrice

  • Try Safe Mode:

Boot into Safe Mode (Hold down the Shift key upon boot). See if this still occurs. In Safe Mode, items open by default and login items do not open after login, with all caches are set aside. See if it then works. Then, restart the Mac, and log in to the same user as you are in now. See if it now works. Logging into Safe Mode may fix a few things.

  • Create a New User:

See if you still get this error - if so, then it is something misconfigured in your current user. If that fixes this, then transfer everything over to the new user, ridding of this current user.

To Create an Admin:

  1. Go to: System Preferences
  2. Click: Users & Groups
  3. Unlock: the Lock
  4. Press: the "+" button
  5. Add: an Administrator User

  • Clear your Temporary Internet Files (Cookies & Cache) of Safari:

--- Cache keeps a snapshot of the last time you visited a site.

  • Any Security Software Installed?:

Security Software's firewall settings would want to make sure that you are getting secure accessibility to your Mac. So, connecting items would not be a possibility, if firewall settings are part of it and enabled. So, uninstall it, using the uninstaller from the developer’s site. Just dragging a dropping its icon into the Trash will undesirably leave caches and other files sitting around on your Mac. So, use the uninstaller, contacting the developer of the software.

  • Use MalwareBytes for Mac:

This is software that searches for malware/adware. So, scan with it and then remove what is found. Once removed, uninstall MalwareBytes for Mac. Then restart the Mac. \pIt is created by longtime users of these forums. So, that is why it is the only way to go about securing your Mac, when it comes through use of software

Reset the SMC and your NVRAM:

Sometimes when changes are made to the system(i.e. updates), system configurations (i.e. for keyboard or for Ports) become manipulated, technically. So, reset the SMC and NVRAM. It might take up to the tries each, so be sure you have the time to do so.
