Hi I’m on a new iPhone 8+ and this has happened a lot. I copied an important link around 7 hours ago and now when I try to paste it it does not show the paste button as if I had never saved it even though I’m sure I did. Please help.

Save the link to your reading list, or to some other place less likely to vaporize than the clipboard.
It’s quite easy to overwrite the contents of the clipboard while editing text, for instance.

(It is found in the App Store on your iPhone) It saves copies in a history, as you make copied items:

I'm not really finding much in my searches.. but I think that copied stuff only stays on the 'clipboard' for so long. If your links are so important, I would think the best practice would not be to rely on pasting something 7 hours later.. you should paste them immediately into notes or something. Or just go to the link right away rather than copying it and leave the Safari tab open to review later?
