How to connect wired headphones to Mac pro 2019 Catalina ?

Doesn't your 2019 MacBook Pro not have a 3.5 mm headphone jack? That would be one method to connect a pair of wired headphones to it.
I am going to rephrase my question. After connecting wired headphones or any outside speaker systems into 3.5 mm headphone jack the computer is still playing just from the computer speakers. That had happened before with my other laptop computers . Sometimes they would play sometimes they wouldn't. I tried to switch in System Preferences Sound from internal to headphones. This didn't change a thing. Now I noticed that option disappeared too.
