Call using Siri while phone is locked

We understand you are trying to allow Siri to initiate phone calls while your device is locked. We are happy to help provide some guidance to get this going for you.

Let's go to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode and make sure that "Voice Dial" is turned on. Once that is enabled, try locking your device and making a call again. Let us know if that does the trick.

If you go to Settings > Siri & Search, is the option for "Allow Siri When Locked" enabled?

Also, if you navigate to Settings > General > Software Update, are there any iOS updates that need to be downloaded?

If the issue continues, we'd like to ask some additional questions to get a better understanding of what might be happening:

1.) Will Siri perform other actions while locked, such as search the web, or report the weather?

2.) Is this only happening when your Bluetooth headset is connected?

Do you have any restrictions enabled on the device if you navigate to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions?

We can also check to see if you have any configuration profiles on the device that might be restricting access or causing this behavior. This often times is set up on a device that is given out by a company, such as a work device or a device that has company profiles or profiles on it. You can find this by going to Settings > General > Profiles & Device Management.
