Please Bring Back Cover Flow

I used cover flow for 9 years on my previous machine and since I bought a new Mac Pro 2 weeks ago and landed on Catalina OS, I was very disappointed to find out that one of the most useful functionalities has disappeared ...

From a user experience and context use, I do not see any improvement in the new display which does not allow to see things in text and image context anymore.

Could you please make an update to re-instate?

I think Steve Jobs would also appreciate it :-)

Finder was redesigned in Catalina with the expulsion of Cover Flow, and you can bet that Finder is receiving another redesign and interface tweak for Big Sur (macOS 11) due this Fall. Apple will not be providing any further feature updates to Catalina, and their design for Big Sur is now likely frozen. You can send them feedback until you are exhausted, and I very much doubt that they would alter their Big Sur design to bring back an old feature. Maybe, but most likely not.
