I accidentally wiped my MAC completely while trying to delete personal information. How do I restore?

It depends on the exact model of your Mac since older Macs can only be restored using the orginal DVD or a later retail copy of an OSX DVD.


See if your Mac can boot into Recovery Mode (Command + R), Internet Recovery Mode (Command + Option + R), or create a bootable macOS USB installer if you have access to another compatible Mac.
