In the past 3 weeks, my iPhone 7 has been shutting down randomly. The battery seems okay as it’s fully charged.
I did the recommended reset of pressing the power button and the volume down button simultaneously but it’s still shutting down randomly.
Can anyone kindly suggest a lasting solution 🙏🏾

wole ~ Being fully charged is probably not an indicator of its health. ...What's the Maximum Capacity % here? Settings > Battery > Battery Health.
And shutting down can be a symptom of a battery in need of replacement:

If the battery of your iPhone 7 is the original one, replace it:

wole ~ You're welcome. 80% battery health is considered the cutoff point. So yes, it's the end of that battery. This year we've been seeing many similar posts to yours related to iPhone 6 & 7. Next year we can expect similar posts for iPhone 8.

A phone technician friend of mine also suggested I replace the battery. I checked for the maximum capacity and it says 74% . Does this mean it’s the end of the battery?
If so, I’ll arrange a replacement soonest.
