macbook air white screen with lines

Some weeks ago my MacBook air screen turned white with some lines. I haven't lost it or got water on it, and the mac looks brand new. When I turn my mac on the screen turns white with some lines, and after some seconds it goes from white to grey. Have someone else experienced this?

Hey there adele167,

We understand that your MacBook Air boots to a screen that is white with lines on it, then turns gray and you want to see what can be done. We'll be happy to help.

To begin, we'd recommend completing two resets, NVRAM and SMC. You can find links with steps for both resets below. Both may help.

Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac

How to reset the SMC of your Mac

If the issue persists after both resets, let's try booting into macOS Recovery. If the issue persists there or it does not boot into that mode, there might be a hardware issue. Follow the steps in the link below.

About macOS Recovery

Let us know how that goes. Cheers!
