Good day. I bought the entry level new MacMini 2020 with 256gb storage. I checked the Overview and see that it’s a “Mac mini 2018”. Was I given an old model?

No, it’s the latest, the “2020 model“ threw in a bigger 256 GB disk as standard, that’s all.
