Copy and paste an IF formula changing only the first half

I'll try to make it simple.

I have 2 tables.

Table 1

  • A1 contains "Madi".
  • B1 contains "Faki".

Table 2

  • A1 will contain data that I input.
  • A2 contains a formula that refers to cell A1 on TABLE 1, and it goes like "IF A1<100, Table1:A1"

This way, if I input 7 in Table1:A1, Table2:A2 will say "Madi", right?

Yea I know you know.

Now, I want to copy the IF formula to other columns of Table 2 (B2, C2 and so on), but the reference should always be Table1:A1, so that when I input 99 in Table1:B1 I still have "Madi" in B2.

If I do things the regular way (dragging or copy&paste), when I input 99 in Table2:B1, Table2:B2 will refer to Table1:B1 and report "Faki" instead. But, again, I want it to report what is in Table1:A1.

I know it's possible because it wouldn't make sense otherwise, but... how??

Many thanks to anyone willing to help!
