The official Apple page with Mac OS shortcuts does not address MacBooks missing the Power and the Media Eject key.
How would you put a MacBook Pro to sleep with keyboard shortcuts?

On a MacBook Pro with a Touch Bar, you can add a Sleep button to the Touch Bar. Else, there is no keyboard-based shortcut for Sleep, you must use Apple menu > Sleep.
A “perhaps partial” solution:
IF you have a touchbar (?) “Sleep” can be added from:
System Prefs ... Keyboard ... Customize Control Strip.
As far as “media eject” ... not sure 🤔
Apparently the MacBook Pro has lost the ability to sleep from a built-in keyboard shortcut. I did find that Control-Command-Q will lock the screen and that will have to suffice.
The TouchID sensor is not a true power button, but it does serve to turn on your Mac (if you've disabled the setting to boot up when the lid is opened), and it also serves as a hard reset button if you hold it for ~10 s.
On a MacBook Pro, what key is a substitute for the 'Media Eject' or 'Power button'? How would you put the MBP asleep with keyboard shortcuts?
