After the 10.4.9 update, the export has changed. If you shoot in 2,7K (GoPro), edit in 2,7K, now you can’t export the file in 2,7K! Highest possible resolution is HD. Is there an official statement, that Apple removed resolutions between HD and 4K? Another question, how can I go back to 10.4.8? Thx
Yes! It is true, but it is mastering, not exporting! Exporting a master file eats 10x more disk space. At 10.4.8. it was possible to export the 2,7K project at the same resolution. After the update it's gone. Only option is the 1080p. Unfortunately, all my media is 2,7K:(
My media content is from Gopro and DJI. So the resolution of the media is 2704x1520 (2,7K 59.94 frame rate). The project resolution is always 2,7K. Before the upgrade FCP in the "export file" menu, I had the native project resolution (2,7K 59.94 frame rate) After the upgrade its gone, and only 845x480, 960x540, 1280x720, 1920x1079 remained. 2,7K is pretty good. Its High enough, but much easier to handle.
Please can you give the exact resolution of your project properties? Please what is 2.7 horizontal and vertical in project properties? There are different project presets in FCP which are you using?
As Luis says master file export the project resolution even if it’sa custom resolution. Please give exact information to see if we can find the problem.

If you choose Master File, Video and Audio, H264 of ProRes, you can.
What do you mean by exporting? It's all exporting using the Share function. Which settings exactly are you using? What is the project resolution?
Exporting a master file in H264 will give you a 2.7K file.
Thanks Lius! But it seems a bug. Now I exported the 2,7k project. (export file, selected res 1080) and the exported file is 2,7K.
