iPhone keeps asking "Do you want to share Wi-Fi password with my MacBook"?

I have the password entered into my macbook for the wifi signal at my apartment and have been connected to that wifi for over a week and a half with not even having to disconnect on my computer. Even though I already have the password entered and my computer is connected to that wifi network, every time I wake my phone the message pops up asking me if I want to share the wifi password with my computer. I've tried forgetting and rejoining the network on both my phone and my computer multiple times but nothing has helped.

It has grown to be very annoying as it is something I always have in the way, and it is starting to do the same things to my roommate's phone as well when she is a little close to my computer. Please help!

How did you originally set up the MacBook's WiFi password? By entering it, or by pushing the automatic button on your router?

The next time this happens, accept the offer and let your iPhone "teach" the WiFi password to your MacBook. They will then be using the same password on the same network and neither iPhone will be bothered again.

Try Updating your iPhone:

Use the iPhone itself, a PC, or a Mac to Update it. This would fix bugs and the like.

1. Backup First: Make a backup of your device using iCloud or your computer. That way you can have something to restore you iPhone from, should anything go wrong with the update installation.

2. Then, Update Using these Links:

On the iPhone itself: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch - Apple Support
From a Mac: Update Software on iOS Devices in iTunes on Mac - Apple Support
From a PC: Update Software on iOS and iPadOS Devices in iTunes on PC - Apple Support

I believe I manually entered the password onto my computer. I have pressed "share password" on my iPhone and my roommate has as well multiple times but the message still comes up unfortunately!
