lost Mac

According to find my devices on my phone, my Mac was last in my house (last night). I have not used it (in other words, it was not opened), since two nights ago. The sound to identify its location was not working (because it was closed; very frustrating!). I decided to clean my house and forget about it and just plain ole calm down! I found it under a pile of newspapers.

Is there anyway for me to get it to make noise so I can actually find it! Perhaps a setting?! Perhaps cover or something I can attach to it?

We all feel you pain if a misplaced device.

Unfortunately no ...

... if your Mac (or any other device) is turned off, “Find My” will not “wake it up” to make a noise.

Best of luck.
