Maps app language help!

Since installing an iOS update the navigation voice in my maps app is Chinese (whilst the language for my iPhone and Siri are both English). I’ve tried everything but cannot get the language to change in the Maps app. When I change the voice to female or male in iOS or Siri settings it also changes in Maps, but the same can’t be said of the language itself. Please help, it’s infuriating.

First, we recommend updating to the latest iOS version. Open this link to Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Then open this link If the Maps app isn't working on your Apple device, and complete the steps under "If you can't find your current location on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch" which provide essential troubleshooting tips.
Next, open Settings > Maps > Map Labels. Is Always in English enabled?
Also, please check to see if there is a profile installed on the device. Open this link to learn where to check for this: Install a configuration profile on your iPhone or iPad.
