Re: AirPod troubles

I recently have had some issues with my airpods. Lately when I try to connect them to my MacBook it says they are connected and I hear that they have connected. However the audio is coming from my MacBook and my headphones are quiet. I have tried resetting it and I have tried disconnecting it and re pairing it. However I had had no luck. Has anyone else had this issue?

You have not told us which generation AirPods you have, or any details about your Mac. Perhaps your Mac doesn’t meet the minimum requirements.


  • AirPods Pro require MacOS Catalina 10.15.1 or later
  • Second generation AirPods require MacOS Mojave 10.14.4 or later
  • First generation AirPods require MacOS Sierra or later
