Re: AirPod troubles

I recently have had some issues with my airpods. Lately when I try to connect them to my MacBook it says they are connected and I hear that they have connected. However the audio is coming from my MacBook and my headphones are quiet. I have tried resetting it and I have tried disconnecting it and re pairing it. However I had had no luck. Has anyone else had this issue?

Left AirPod giving less sound while connected to MacBook After updating my 2020 13" macbook to version 10.15.6 my 2nd gen airpods started giviving almost no sound from the left airpod when i connect to them from my macbook. They're just fine when I'm using with my iPhone and never had such problem using them with my macbook before. Issue is probably from the latest update. And I also tried disconnecting, reconnecting and removing the device, reconnecting both didn't work.

Airpod Pros only playing out of one ear ONLY on one machine (M1 mackbook air) When my AirPods are connected to my m1 MacBook Air, only the left one plays. When I put the left one back in the case, the right one starts working. I've tried multiple programs (standalone Spotify and YouTube in browser) I've tried on different devices and while they work fine on my iPhone and iPad, the MacBook keeps having this issue. Troubleshooting steps I've tried: resetting Air Pods (hold pairing button for 15 seconds to get LED indicator to blink orange) removing Air Pods from MacBook and re-pairing restarting macbook Updating the MacBook to the newest OS, Monterey 12.2.1… unsure what else to do.

You have not told us which generation AirPods you have, or any details about your Mac. Perhaps your Mac doesn’t meet the minimum requirements.

AirPods Pro require MacOS Catalina 10.15.1 or later
Second generation AirPods require MacOS Mojave 10.14.4 or later
First generation AirPods require MacOS Sierra or later

Thank you for your response. My AirPods are a second gen and my MacBook is updated to the Catalina OS
