USB hub with iPad Air

Hi,

Is it possible to connect an iPad Air 3rd generation to an USB dock or hub? So that Ethernet, HDMI and keyboard and mouse may be connected to the iPad at once.

I think that by “3rd generation” you mean a model w/ USB Type-C / Thunderbolt-3 ports.

If so, the answer is yes, what you’re looking for is a “Thunderbolt” hub.

Apple has two very nice models in their store ...

CalDigit TS3 Plus Dock

.., but there is a wide range of options/capabilities on the market.

I mean that I have the iPad Air 10.5 inch, the one advertised on the Apple website under "iPad Air". It has a Lighting port, not a Thunderbolt one; I think Thunderbolt and Lightning are different. Your recommendations don't specify that they work with iPads, they seems to just be for MacBooks. I've looked for hours and can't find any of this wide range of options you talk about, could you direct me?
