Voice texting for Apple Watch

When I try to talk into the watch to send a text message, the language comes up in Japanese. I am having trouble changing it to English. I have tried changing the language to English on the Apple Watch App, by holding the voice recorded on the text feature, and I deleted the Japanese keyboard that was on my IPhone. All of the settings say the watch is in English but when I use the voice to text feature it is still coming up in Japanese. Does anyone know how to fix this?
