My original iPhone 6 charger continues to work just fine. I needed a 2nd charger and bought a cheap brand and it wouldn't work. Bought another and it wouldn't work. Finally bought one directly from Apple and it won't work whether I plug it into wall, car, or MacBook. So, I figure it's my phone but why does my original charger continue to work just fine?
Original that still works is an Apple. Three new chargers were not Apple and one was. None of the 4 work on my iPhone 6. But I tried the new Apple charger on my sister's iPhone 6 tonight and it does work for her phone.
Thanks. Tried that and still can't get the new chargers to work?!?! My lightning port was already pretty clean. Found a little bit of stuff in it, but my cover has a flap over the port, so it doesn't accumulate much.
Kinda figured that might be the answer. Thanks for your help!
Is it an Apple cable or a cheap one?
QED your phone seems to need attention. check the lightening port for fluff.
plug the connector in and out 50 times
With the age of the phone it may be more cost effective to upgrade to an SE2020
