My bad: The SIM removal tool seemingly doesn’t ship with all iPhones. It might only ship with unlocked, SIM-free iPhone orders. (I’ve not acquired a carrier-locked iPhone since that was first possible, so I’ve received the tool.)
The SIM drawer button can be stiff, but there’s no trick; not absent corrosion or damage.
There’s a SIM removal tool in the box the iPhone shipped in. If that’s.still available, try that.
Yes, all iPhones have at least one SIM, some have either two SIMs or a SIM and an eSIM. Yours has one SIM.
