I got a new MacBook Pro recently and its only showing 250 gb total storage when it should be 500 gb. How do I fix this?

To determine your Mac's storage capacity, refer to Get system information for your Mac - Apple Support.

Excerpt:

  • Storage: View how much of your storage device is being used and the types of information stored. See available storage space.

If it indicates 250 GB, that's what it is.
