Is it possible to upgrade (increase capacity) the hard drive on my Mac?

You can't upgrade storage capacity, since your MacBook Air SSD is soldered on logic board.

Unfortunately, you can not upgrade the storage on your MacBook Air because it is a SSD (Solid State Drive) and is soldered to the logic board.
Depends on the model. For older MacBook Airs, the internal storage can be upgraded. Newer models, no.
