There is a search box at the top right. If you're running macOS Catalina and referring to Music rather than iTunes use View > Show Filter Field.

Thank you so much! After about 30 mins of frustration, I found it. A few simple screens of where things can be found an what happens to one's existing music, would have been really helpful when Apple made this change. Rather than wasting your time and mine on this. Thanks again! My 90 year old mother has given up. I always hoped that Apple would not alienate people. Skype did it- where Microsoft goes, Apple follows? Excuse my frustration. Have a great day!
