I have Catalina 10.15.6. I'm currently unable to choose my own photos from my photo library for my screen saver. When I click on the dropdown for Source and click on Choose Folder, my Photos Library is greyed out and I'm unable to select from my own Photo Library. I've always been able to do this before updating to Catalina.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Mine works. (I am running MacOS Catalina 10.15.6 on a MacBook Pro (13", 2018)).
Does everything work fine for you in the Photos application? Is your Photos library in some unusual location (such as another disk)?
I'm on an iMac and I have no option for Photo Library.
Open the Photos app.
Use the menu bar to go to Photos > Preferences > General.
Be certain your Photos Library location looks reasonable, and is on the same disk as your operating system.
You must have set the Photos Library to be the System Photo Library in Photos' General preference pane:
