Meyer Lemon Apple watch band

Hello guys, I ordered a Meyer Lemon Apple watch band, and it came a bit dark, or should I say dirty, I don't really know. But the point is that the strap isn't as yellow as it should be. I took a shower with my Apple watch and it became a bit brighter in some parts, and and it became a bit pale. Is there a way I can fix it. The band didn't came shining .
