Can’t execute “Cmd + R"

Hello,

I can’t execute “Cmd + R” at startup, or any commands.

I have my hard drive backed up by “Time Machine”, on an external drive, how can I “Recover” and get my computer back on track?

Can I boot from my external somehow or start the “Time Machine” process?

Thanks,

Marvin

What exactly happens when you try?

Second: which OS version are you running? What model/year is your device?

You have to hold down the keys for some time until you see a rotating world globe.
