I am trying to remove the yahoo search redirect. I have google as my preferred search engine but search.yahoo takes over the search. i have tried all most all ways which i took from Google.
but it is not working. need your help to fix this.

Thank you Siabh. It worked. I installed Malwarebytes(freeware version) it removed the malware and solved it.
should I buy Malwarebytes for future protection? or this freeware can help me every time?
The freeware version has limited options but works for certain issues. Depending on your usage/needs, you can choose to purchase the paid version.
If you only need Malwarebytes for occasional use, the free version should be all you need.
