Facetime not working properly when using VPN
Hello,
I have a problem with Facetime app on my 2019 MB Pro when I am connected via VPN. I am using "Check Point Endpoint Security VPN" (I also tried with other VPN apps, but same problem) and whenever I am connected to it, Facetime is no longer working properly: I am no longer able to place calls and receive calls using my iPhone option. If I shutdown entirely all the processes generated by the VPN app, then Facetime works fine. However, before writing here, I contacted the support of the VPN app and they told me that they are not blocking anything from my laptop (traffic, ports, etc.) and that this might be a software bug.
The error I receive from Facetime when I am connected to VPN is "Your iPhone and Mac must be connected on the same Wi-Fi network". They both are, but this is not working when on VPN. When I disconnect from my VPN and try this again, then it works (without any restart of my MB or iPhone).
Is there any solution to make this work?
Regards,
Edwin
