Encrypted Time Machine Back-Up
Hi,
Is it necessary to do "Encrypt Time Machine backup" or "normal Time Machine backup"?
I am asking this because when ever I do "Encrypt Time Machine backup" it takes a lot of time to complete the task.

It's up to you, but if an unencrypted TM backup becomes lost, stolen, or inoperative, it can be used to effectively create an exact duplicate of your Mac.
When (not if but when) an encrypted TM backup disk eventually becomes inoperable all you need to do is throw it away.

Yes John it is safe to keep Back-up in Encrypted format... so I will continue this. Thank you!
