Ipad Air 3 screen replacement

Hello, I am from Turkey and I am using Ipad Air 3 for the last 6 months.


Last week I accidentally fell the tablet to the ground and sadly the screen is shredded into pieces.


Today I spoke with local service provider to change the screen and they told me that they can not change the screens of the Ipad’s (due to the some technical stuff), but they can offer a new one with the almost same amount of money (around $410$) with the new one (around $520).


I know that I should pay the screen but I could not understand the offer. this is ridiculous.

Why would I pay a for a new tablet instead of changing the screen of it?


therefore I would like to understand that this occasion is only for Turkey or is it global?


If it is not global, then I want your help to get a service support. Because right now, I am not receiving any service support for such a luxury product and I believe this is damaging the brand reputation.

First of all, accidental damage is not covered in the regular warranty. Here are your terms

Apple usually simply replaces the iPad rather than replacing the screen.



If you had purchased Applecare+, you would only have a co-pay because accidental damage is covered for two incidents.
