Live Photo

hi, I have iPhone 5s and I upgraded to IOS 12.4.8 recently.

I want to ask if I can use portrait mode and Live Photos in my camera app. Currently the modes do not show when I open the camera. But, when I received portraits, I could view them in portrait folder in gallery. How can I use these features?? If anyone can help please do help me.
