Improving voice to text accuracy question

in the past I had voice to text programs that asked you to read a few paragraphs so they could understand my voice patterns. My iphone 11s kind of sucks in translating my voice to text. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to improve it?

iPhone 11, iOS 13

Hello MDATX,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

From reading your post, it appears when using speech dictation, the translating is not reading your voice correctly. We're here to help you take a look into that!

First, reset up the Siri voice recognition and check to make sure all the microphone are working properly. Here are a couple articles to follow with steps to help resolve this issue:

If Siri or "Hey Siri" isn't working

If the microphones on your iPhone aren't working

If the issue is with a certain app, follow these steps in attempting to resolve the issue:

If an app unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open

Hopefully this helps!

No, that is not really the problem. The phone responds fine when I say "Hey Siri". But when I am using voice to text while composing an email or a text message, there are a HUGE amount of mistakes.

I am trying to see if somehow these apps / the iPhone can "learn" my voice better so there are not so many mistakes.

Thanks for your reply.
