My iPhone has been stuck on apple logo for almost 2 hours i have tried the up/down/side bar reset (hardreset) and nothing is working.
My iPhone wont go past this apple screen and it keeps flashing.
please help

1) Try and Force Restart your iPhone exactly as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:
(2) If the above does not work then - Follow the instructions in this article by Apple ➔ If your iPhone is Non-Responsive or Frozen and see if that helps.
(3) If that does not help your phone might need service ➔ Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support

So now my iPhone XS Max has the Apple logo under it the progress bar which is partially complete I have waited for more than and 1 hour and now my mac is saying error code 14 and everything has stopped moving on the progress bar of the iPhone.
what should I do now? Earliest I can see someone at Genius Bar is Sunday
My iPhone XS Max is now stuck on recovery mode and will not leave this at all. Even when I press the side button wait for apple logo to come it goes back to recovery mode.
How do I fix this?

Error 14 is generally associated with software that is not updated and therefore should be updated. Ensure that you Mac is updated with the latest macOS. Ensure that if you are using iTunes on your Mac then that has the latest version as well.

I have updated my Mac to: macOS Catalina 10.15.6 and iTunes seems to be update as there is no update and my finder is at 10.15.6.
when I connect my iPhone XS Max to the Mac it gives me option to update or restore I chose update then it says: iPhone recovery mode your Mac is preparing to update software on this iPhone.
my iPhone then gets the Apple logo with the progress bar under it everything seems to look fine then again midway through the update it still gives me the message: the iPhone could not be updated. An unknown error occurred. (14)
now my iPhone is stuck at the Apple logo with the progress bar partially complete
I don’t want to factory restore my iPhone I’m trying to avoid this.
