After the latest MACOS X Catalina update the two USB-C Hubs and external SSD HD connected through USB-C 3.1 cables to the Thunderbolt port on my Macbook Pro 13 (2017) appear now as USB 2.0 devices with their speed capped at 40MBs. The devices and SSDs worked fine before and work fine in another computers. Is this a MAC OS X bug?

Did you contact the developer of the Hub for support/help/ update (?)
Yes, the first test I did was the speed test. All SSD - HD (tried 3 different ones) are capped at 40MBs.
Also tried different cables, hubs and adapters. All USB devices connected to the TB3 ports appear as USB2.
USB-C 3.1 HUB and SSDs appears as USB 2.0
