Upgrading from 2018 MacBook Pro 13 to new MacBook Pro 16. Went through Migration Assistant two times, one from Time Machine and one direct Mac to Mac. Documents, emails, photos and music do not transfer. I am disappointed in Mac, this is my third MacBook and have never had problems like this in moving everything to new machine.
Thank you for your response. After many attempts with migration manager and chats with customer support nothing worked. The reason for purchasing another MacBook was to avoid manual update otherwise I would have spent a lot less and purchased a POS Microsoft machine. In the end, I restarted the new machine in "Restore" mode and restored from the Time Machine backup. For some reason that worked just fine.
