Enabling the app store after switching my Apple ID

I've switched my apple ID from a work email to a new icloud account, but for some reason my app store is still asking me for my work email to update apps, with the warning saying that the app store was disabled for my iCloud. How do I re-enable the app store so I won't have this issue going forward?
