Apple Music 'Recently Played' keeps showing playlist I haven't listened to in weeks

No matter what, this playlist shows up first in my recently played, and has been for about a week. It's a playlist that I only ever even listen to on iTunes on my desktop, not really on my phone anyway.

And it's as if it's constantly playing somewhere on my account - as you can see in the picture, I'm currently listening to Katy Perry, but that still is now appearing behind the playlist, which i'm not playing at the moment.

I've already checked iTunes on my computer, but it's not running even in the background on any of my devices, so i'm not sure what could be causing this.

I did also post this to reddit but to no avail. Someone there asked if I had mistakenly turned off Listening History, but I don't believe that's the case because

A) off the top of my head I wouldn't know immediately how to do that, so I don't think I did it accidentally, and

B) it is still updating my listening history, this playlist is just always first somehow, even when i'm currently listening to multiple things.

Say i'm listening to one album, but then go listen to another - it will accurately reflect that, but then ALSO have this playlist before it, as if i had been listening to it the whole time and now still am

Hello again badgesickle,

Thanks for the update. We're happy to keep working with you on this.

Do you have the Shazam app on your iPhone? The Shazam app can place songs into your Music app without you being aware of it. Take a look at this article and read more on this: Use Shazam to identify songs and find new music

If you don't use the Shazam app and this issue persists, contact Apple Support:

Take Care.
