Adobe Acrobat Updater is an application downloaded...

This message pops up every 3 days and I don't know why. How do I get rid of it?

"Adobe Acrobat Updater is an application downloaded from the internet. Are you sure you want to open it? Safari downloaded this file on October 19, 2009."

Aluminum iMac - 24", Mac OS X (10.6.4), 4GB RAM

I don't want to Open it because I don't want to install it. When I click Cancel it pops up again in 3 days. Where is this file stored so I can delete it?

Well you certainly must have downloaded it, so presumably in your Downloads folder, or where you have chosen to have downloads arrive.

There's nothing in my downloads folder. Safari downloads go to my desktop and there's no package there that would cause this. OS X is launching the package from somewhere else.

Do you have Adobe Creative Suite?

If so you will find the uninstaller in the Creative Suite Folder/Uninstallers, together with a PDF of how to do it.

To give that message it must have been installed but not yet opened.
