I just got these from Amazon. Press and hold works to toggle between noise cancellation and transparency mode, but none of the tap actions work. I have an iPhone 8 Plus with iOS 13.6.1 Are these defective?

The AirPod Pros don't use the "tap" gesture. They use presses on the force sensor.
