Deleting iCloud backup

I have a backup that is taking up nearly all of my iCloud storage. If I delete it will i be able to back up my phone again?

You should be able to do that, but if the backup is that large that it’s taking up all of the space in iCloud, you will be in the same situation when you backup the phone again. Why not purchase more storage or delete some content in iCloud?
