Term limited warranties have defined time limits. Apple’s standard warranty is one year from the original date of purchase from Apple or an Apple Authorized Seller. So one year after you buy it, the warranty expires and your not covered anymore.


Purchasing AppleCare+ adds one additional year, but it must be purchased within 60 days of buying the device.
