Why has Siri quit working on my Apple Watch?

It’s always worked. I need it to work again. I’ve tried all the suggestions I’ve found.

Apple Watch Series 3, watchOS 6

Goldye,

We definitely understand, and we'll do everything we can to help get Siri working on your Apple Watch again.

How are you trying to use Siri on your Apple Watch? Are you activating Siri by saying "Hey Siri," or are you using Siri another way, (such as by pressing the Digital Crown, or raising your wrist)?

If you add Siri to the watch face using the steps under the "Add Siri to your watch face" part of the link we provided in our initial response, does Siri work as expected?

If the issue only happens when trying to use "Hey Siri," do you have any kind of case on your Apple Watch that may be covering the microphone or speaker? If so, does removing the case change anything?

Are you able to use Siri on your Apple Watch's paired iPhone without any issues? Use Siri on all your Apple devices

Also, we noticed that your iPhone is running an older software version, since iOS 13.7 was recently released. We'd suggest backing up and updating to the latest iOS version to to help rule out any possible software issues. This page goes over the steps to back up and update your device:

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Thanks!

Hello Goldye,

We understand that Siri isn't working on your Apple Watch anymore, and we want to help.

Can you let us know more about what's happening when you try to use Siri on your Apple Watch? For example, does Siri not respond at all, or do you receive an error? If you see an error, please let us know what the error says.

This page has some great information about using Siri on an Apple Watch:

Use Siri on your Apple Watch

We know you mentioned trying some troubleshooting already; can you let us know if you also had a chance to complete the steps outlined under the "If Siri doesn't respond or asks you to try again" part of the above link?

Additionally, to help us narrow this down further, can you let us know which software versions your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone are running? If you'd like a reference on how to view the iOS version, please check out this link:

Find the software version on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod

Take care!
