Can I change my iCloud email address

this is a user based forum. We're not Apple representatives, thus we can't sort out issues regarding sensitive data like an AppleID change.

If you have difficulties changing the e-mail address, I suggest you to phone Apple:

for the same Apple ID (although you will be able to change your Apple ID to different email addresses), your main @icloud.com email address can not be changed and this address is determined by you when you first started to use the icloud email.

The reason I wish to change my iCloud email address is because I am still receiving emails from PayPal. I have never had an account with PayPal.

After making enquiries some time ago I understand there is someone in the USA with the same iCloud email address

as myself, as you will know I live in the UK. The only way to put a stop to this is to change my “ iCloud “ email address.

At present my iCloud email address is ; alan.lucas@icloud .com

Could I please change it to ; alan.lucas51@icoud.com

Please help I’m an eighty seven year old guy who is getting a little frustrated.
