If I delete photos off my iphone do they get deleted in icloud.
I believe they do so if that's the case, if I wish to sell, gift, or replace my iphone I would naturally delete all personal information first. So dose that mean that all my photos are lost?

You will erase the device but can still keep your data stored in iCloud in case you wish to get another iOS or iPadOS device.

Thanks for your reply solved my question, but pants Apple surely have the system as icloud storage and delete through icloud and then being able to delete from phone to free up storage.
