My all around cure for Graphics issues...
GraphicConverter, for PDF save choose JPG Compression & any % quality you want, Open dialog choices on right...
Thank you very much for all your support... I tried several times and it worked but the final quality is too bad and it’s readable at all...
min still trying to finding out how to a add filters allowing the user select the size reduction quality (or size)
When a PDF is generated, varying internal compression algorithms are automatically applied to the text and graphics. Further attempts at file size reduction are likely futile at the expense of legibility, and may actually increase the size of the PDF.
I propose that if you are creating the PDF, and enclosing high dpi image content, when somewhat lesser dpi image content would still look good, then start with image reduction using BDAqua's GraphicConverter recommendation. Once you have the images resized, and resampled, generate an original, smaller PDF with premium legibility.
Any luck my friend?
I think iMac 27″, OS X 10.10 should have Catalina.
If you are working with preview in OS Sierra would Tools>Adjust size work for you?
Thanks, should have pointed out that any graphics would be the biggest savings.
