Black listed iPhone purchased on eBay
I bought an Iphone SE for my 14-year-old daughter and subsequently found out it was blacklisted because of some sort of insurance scam. Is there anything I can do with this does anybody know?
The only thing you can do is return it for a refund, if possible. Otherwise, contact eBay and report a fraudulent purchase.

Your best bet is to raise a claim with Ebay, and if they wont help you can hear with your bank if they can do a charge back for the money charged if it was a credit card used.

No. Apple can't do anything about it.
Blacklisting is done by the cellular carriers, not Apple.

You should buy from Apple or an authorized retailer to prevent becoming victim of a scam. Also, on its website Apple sells reconditioned devices that come with a warranty.
Thanks - I feel so foolish. I agreed to meet the seller and paid in cash!!!!!! It’s basically a camera now.
