“Text messages” are of two very different types.
- iMessages, sent to/from other Apple devices. These can be blocked at Settings > Messages > Filter Unknown Senders.
- SMS text messages, sent to/from other cellular telephones. These probably cannot be blocked, but if they can, it would be done by your cellular carrier.
